Keeping warm on a snippy Sunday.
I haven’t knit much of anything since my dad died in 2008. It kept me company and calmed my head while watching him sleep. I’m an instant gratification knitter so I only make smallish things that don’t take a lot of time and don’t require seaming. Hats and scarves and whatnots knit in the round. I’d forgotten how much I enjoy it and how much thinking you can get done when you choose something super repetitive like this lovely bumpy moss stitch. It’s like level 5 mindmeld meditation… whatever that means. I just know that it feels good.
