Some things to tell you for no reason:
The city is changing really really really fast. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many building cranes in the downtown core in my life. There are about one hundred and eleventy. Every visit brings something new to the cityscape.
Tis the season for car accidents. I was stopped here because of one that happened just ahead of me on the Gardiner. Then, I saw a streetcar eat the ass end of a Volvo. Then I saw no less than four other accidents over the next couple of hours. All of my driving today was done on super extra high alert and I’m happy to have it parked back safely in my driveway.
I really like chips with malt vinegar and a shit ton of salt and pepper. My favourite place to stop for that is Chippy’s on Queen West. It is just yum.
