Matthew Allard wins today and he totally made me cry. When someone tells you they sent you a little something in the mail for your office… you really don’t expect two beautiful framed prints that are the exact colours that move your heart and are used throughout your home. I can’t stop getting teary about them because they are beautiful and feature letters and numbers and ampersands and such … and they’re limited edition letterpress from Green Chair Press and oh jeez. I don’t even know how to form proper sentences about how much I love them… and more importantly how much I love dear Matthew making his home way too far from me on the other side of the continent.

He is beyond lovely and generous and floor stompingly funny and I’m so so so glad our paths met in this silly space. I can’t wait to hug his face off in January.

I’ll take better photos tomorrow but I couldn’t help but show them to you while I sit here with my super choked up throat.

I love my friends. I do. I do.
