The peachy portfolio people at Carbonmade have been very kind to me, enabling me to show my illustrations to a wide audience through using their super service (my Carbonmade portfolio lives here). 

They also have a blog, where they thought it would be fun to ask me questions about illustration, mid-century design and hovering cats. I agreed, much merriment ensued and the resulting interview can be seen here.

I am really good at taking it easy. I keep wondering what that wee giraffe did to get sent to the corner. I may turn him around in a bit. Until then I will keep studying these Charley Harper prints and thinking deep thoughts. Like, I wonder what a giraffe would look like riding a bicycle? How would he hold on with his hooves? What is in his backpack? I bet he has some sandwiches.

Our pal Everest (son of talented artist Jade) shows off his super toothy smile and badical Carbonmade t-shirt. He put some serious creative elbow grease into an upcoming doodle feature and we wanted to say thanks. Keep an eye on this kid… he’s going places. Besides school and stuff.
